That is what gives these awards their unique weight. \nTickets are still available – click here for more. \n  \n——————– \n  \nABOUT WXO EXPERIENCE AWARDS 2026 \nBeing shortlisted is winning. At this level\, the difference between entries for the WXO Awards is rarely clear-cut. It is subjective. Context matters. Taste matters. What resonates with one judge may not with another. \nAll this is true – unless\, of course\, you win \nThis is the third year of the WXO World Experience Awards\, and the standard has risen markedly. The depth\, rigour\, and ambition of submissions this year signal a field coming of age. \nLike the Oscars\, these awards are decided by peers. \nJust as the Oscars are voted for by members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences\, so only members of the World Experience Organization – all leaders and practitioners shaping this industry – can vote. That is what gives these awards their unique weight. \nWe planned for six shortlisted entries for most categories. In several cases\, ties made that impossible. It felt churlish to exclude people and work at this level. \nFor Experience of the Year\, we managed to stay at 12 shortlisted entries\, though the volume and quality made selection unusually difficult. (There are many exceptional experiences that are not on this list. \nIt’s been a real pleasure reading\, watching\, considering this list. There are no spectators. Everyone plays. \nYou are welcome to arrive up to 30 minutes before the start of your time slot and enjoy our on-site bar. The bar is also open after your mission. \nThe closest stations to Punchdrunk are Woolwich (Elizabeth Line)\, Woolwich Arsenal (DLR and National Rail)\, and Woolwich Pier for the Thames Clippers. \nIf travelling by tube or train\, the easiest route is to take the Elizabeth Line to Woolwich\, which is around 15 minutes from Canary Wharf and about 20 minutes from central London. From the station\, it’s just a short walk to the venue. \nFor a more scenic journey\, you can also take the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers to Woolwich (Royal Arsenal Pier)\, which is only a few minutes’ walk away and offers great views along the Thames on the way.

DESCRIPTION:A welcome to London from Howard Dawber OBE\, Deputy Mayor of London for Business & Growth. \n  \n\n  \nAbout Howard Dawber: \nHoward was appointed Deputy Mayor for Business and Chair of London and Partners in December 2023. \nBefore joining the Mayor’s team\, Howard worked in business for thirty years\, spending 17 years as Managing Director for Strategy of the Canary Wharf Group. At Canary Wharf\, Howard was involved in the development of the Elizabeth Line and supporting the 2012 Olympic Bid and Olympic Legacy as well as commercial inward investment projects in tech\, health and life sciences\, and financial services. \nHe has been an active member of business organisations including Business LDN\, London Chamber of Commerce and Industry\, TheCityUK and the London Property Alliance. \nHe is a trustee of “The Line” art walk along the River Lea. Formerly Chair of the East End Community Foundation (2013-2022) he is now a patron of the charity\, and a patron and former Vice-President of UK Youth. \nHoward was Chair of the Business Advisory Board for the University of East London School of Business and Law and has been a visiting lecturer at the School. \nHoward was a Parliamentary Candidate for the Labour Party and is the Chair of Labour Friends of Bangladesh and Labour Friends of USA. \nHe lives in London and is married with a daughter.
