SUMMARY:I MUST BE INVISIBLE: A Laboratory of Belonging
DESCRIPTION:What does it mean to be invisible — and why do some people long for it? \nIn this intimate gathering\, participants become researchers of their own lived experience — exploring how invisibility operates in personal\, social\, and institutional life\, and how being seen or unseen shapes behavior\, belonging\, and choice. \nThe Laboratory of Belonging is a place where visibility is examined with curiosity and care — and where participants leave feeling seen\, heard\, and celebrated. Blending storytelling\, live music\, audience reflection\, and participatory ritual\, this experience fosters resilience and a genuine sense of belonging that tends to stay with people long after they leave the room. \nFacilitated by social practice artist and In/Visibility Lab Founder Gabrielle Senza\, assisted by Dan Ruderman. \nGrounded in over 500 real responses from the Archive of Invisible Things — an ongoing cross-cultural research project. \nCapacity: up to 25. No late entry. \n——– \nPresenting at London Experience Week 2026\nI MUST BE INVISIBLE: A Laboratory of Belonging\nMinistry of Sound · April 23rd  |  CitizenM London · April 24th \ngabriellesenza.com\ninvisibilitylab.com\nwalkunafraid.org

SUMMARY:ROI\, ROX & Timing: An Experiential Love Triangle
DESCRIPTION:What if most experiential projects don’t fail because of bad ideas — but because teams commit too early? \nThis case study / workshop breaks down two real Luna Luna outcomes. \nFirst\, a win: six months spent learning how to speak to an audience — tone\, references\, cultural signals — while raising interest from partners and capital\, all on a 5-figure budget and before a venue or show design existed. \nThen\, a loss: a high-volume show launch where guest flow decisions were locked before insight\, forcing expensive mid-run fixes. \nUsing real numbers\, timelines\, and trade-offs\, this session shows how sequencing audience learning\, capital\, and commitment directly determines ROI and ROX. \nTLDR; Most experiential pain is self-inflicted. This is how to delay the pain until it actually matters. \nKey takeaways: \n\nTest demand before belief hardens\nLearn how to validate interest and audience resonance before locking venues\, designs\, or major spend — using lightweight signals rather than polished launches.\nRead pricing through time\, not averages\nUse day- and hour-level sales patterns to identify pricing gaps\, demand cliffs\, and elasticity early\, instead of relying on blended metrics that hide opportunity.\nBorrow communities before buying attention\nActivate bands\, artisans\, creators\, and local partners as built-in distribution to reduce CAC and deepen emotional engagement without increasing media spend.\nLearn at checkout\, not after the run\nCapture real customer intent in the moment of purchase to improve marketing\, programming\, and sponsorship decisions while the experience is still live.\nSpend only where impact clears breakeven\nApply a simple breakeven test to creative and operational decisions to avoid overhiring\, overdesigning\, and last-minute additions that audiences won’t materially notice. (this is where the love triangle really comes in)

SUMMARY:Experiences That Matter: Building Brand Impact Through Collaboration and Insight
DESCRIPTION:This session explores how TRO and BMW create real-world impact in the UK. \nDrawing on 20 years of relationship intelligence data\, it shows that deep\, trusted partnerships\, invested in as rigorously as creativity\, are a true superpower for growth\, particularly when retention is five times more cost-efficient than acquisition. \nThe session will unpack work that shifts perception and builds brand energy people actually feel\, while helping BMW stay relevant in a fast-moving\, culture-driven UK landscape. \nIt breaks down how experiential work becomes a brand-building engine when agencies move beyond delivery into strategic vision and business understanding. These are the traits data shows separate high-performing partnerships from the rest. \nAttendees can expect honest insights on partnership\, retention\, and organic growth\, framed through the lens of impact: what moves people and what makes a brand matter. \nKey takeaways: \n\nHow to design experiences that create measurable brand and business impact\, in a context where impact is the new currency.\nHow TRO helps BMW stay culturally relevant in the UK by combining flawless delivery with strategic direction and social-first\, creator-ready experiences.\nHow long-term partnerships\, underpinned by business understanding and a prevention mindset\, unlock bigger\, braver ideas that shift brand perception while reducing churn.\nHow to spot and grow opportunities by solving real audience needs\, identifying early risk signals before they affect revenue.\nHow trust\, transparency\, and a clear point of view fuel impactful work that feels effortless to clients\, even when efficiency and collaboration are top concerns.

SUMMARY:Blue Fondue’s JE L’AIME (Work In Progress): Day One
DESCRIPTION:Join the team behind Blue Fondue’s JE L’AIME at one of two sharings of the Work in Progress. The production is slated to open in London in July 2026 before touring internationally in Autumn 2026 and Spring / Summer 2027. \nJE L’AIME uses Internet of Things devices\, bespoke software to personalise the piece and a modular systems design to create a unique show\, which is able to tour apartments around the world. \nThe team are road testing these systems in this Work in Progress\, and exploring how ‘theatrical’ they can go in a highly naturalistic setting. Can we place the audience in a plastic universe – one that bends and stretches\, warps and moulds to the inner and outer lives of our characters – without losing narrative coherence? \nThe only way to find out is with an audience… \nNote: LX26 ticket holders will be given instructions on how to book this experience via the event app. \n Running time: Two hours incl. time for post show feedback over drinks & nibbles \nCapacity: 20 \n

SUMMARY:Using AI to Clarify Experience Design
DESCRIPTION:Many designers are adopting AI tools quickly. The result is often more concepts\, more outputs\, but less clarity. Instead of accelerating decision-making\, AI can create noise that weakens creative direction and human judgment. \nThis session reframes AI as a design assistant\, NOT a shortcut or replacement for craft. Through real-world case studies\, NeoPangea’s Jen Wallace and Teresa Van Wagner are joined by ID3 Group’s Lydia Futral-Pilcher to show how AI is intentionally integrated into NeoPangea’s experience design workflow to support clarity\, alignment\, and better decision-making across IRL projects. \nThe session will walk through when and why AI is used during concept development\, narrative framing\, and internal alignment\, and when it’s deliberately not used. Along the way\, the speakers will share honest examples of failed experiments\, abandoned approaches\, and lessons learned. \nAttendees will be introduced to a simple\, repeatable framework for using AI with purpose\, preserving authorship while benefiting from emerging tools. \nFor beginner to intermediate AI users; experience designers\, creative technologists\, producers\, and strategists \nKey takeaways: \n\nA practical framework for integrating AI into experience design workflows\nClear guidance on where AI adds value\, and where it erodes craft\nReal examples of successful and unsuccessful AI use in IRL projects\nGreater confidence using AI intentionally\, not reactively\n\n

SUMMARY:Memory\, Embodiment and AI for the Immersive Industry
DESCRIPTION:When considering the potential impact of immersive technologies on our society\, there is an unmistakable human component. \nThe value of immersive experiences stems\, at least in part\, from the embodiment of the experience: the immersion of the senses\, the social interpersonal aspect\, and the dimension of these tools that goes beyond passive screen consumption. \nHow can we use AI to enhance our understanding of the immersive industry and explore the potential for AI-human collaboration? \nMeet Sam – Tellart’s ongoing applied research project exploring real-time AI-human interaction with generative cinema. \nThrough a series of phone-based interactions\, an unlimited number of participants can provide input and feedback into the interactive on-screen engine. \nAfter careful processing\, Sam will provide a uniquely generated cinematic reflection on the group’s collective consciousness. \nOn the spot. \n\n This work is a continuation of Tellart’s previous work at Nxt Museum Amsterdam as well as several other AI-powered experiences that the company has created over the last two years.

SUMMARY:A Common Design Language for Experience
DESCRIPTION:We design experiences around what people should feel. \nThen we build them with tools that only understand what machines should do. \nSomewhere in between\, the original vision drifts. \nNot because anyone failed\, but because there’s no shared language to protect it. \nAnton will introduce a new experience design language for experience that treats human perception as a first-class building block\, encoding creative intent as an immutable blueprint so that when something changes\, the impact on what people will actually feel is visible immediately. \nAnton will be joined by Mark Laisure from Impossible Creative to reveal one of the first implementations of this project. \nKey takeaways: \n\nWhy creative vision drifts between concept and delivery\, and what structurally causes it\nA new design language that starts with human perception\, not hardware protocols\nHow to encode creative intent as an immutable blueprint that connects the original vision directly to the delivered experience\nHow to make the impact of any change visible at the point decisions are being made\nHow to get involved in shaping an open standard that belongs to the industry

SUMMARY:Making Meaning\, Connection\, and Transformation: Tools\, Reflections\, and Explorations
DESCRIPTION:Impactful experiences create a transformation in their guests…but how do we design to create embodied\, emotional connections and meaningful\, memorable audience journeys? \nDrawing on 25 years of creating immersive\, site-specific\, and experiential work\, Zach will offer practical tools and considerations on creating emotionally engaging audience journeys. \nHe will detail the myriad methods he and Third Rail Projects have used to create critically-acclaimed works that place the audience at the very heart of the storytelling including: Then She Fell\, The Grand Paradise\, Ghost Light\, Behind the City\, the VR adaptation of Wolves in The Walls\, and many others. \nKey takeaways: \n\nWhy you need to hire a theater/dance/movement director as a consultant and/or key member of your team. What is crucial about designing for the whole body & choreographing/blocking the audience experience?\nWhy it is important to create pathways for personal meaning-making through audience endowment and resonance. How does this offer essential and meaningful agency and participation?\nWhy you might want to reimagine what intimacy means in immersive/experiential performance and activations. How we can foster deeply connected\, emotionally resonant\, and scalable audience experiences without relying on unsustainable performer-to-audience ratios?
