Neil Chakravarti has worked across media, technology and investment banking for over 25 years.
He is currently a principal/co-founder at EVOQ Ventures (financing for immersive entertainment), Shocap (immersive live entertainment) and Branded To Film (full-stack film studio in Kingston, Canada).
Neil has founded, built and exited two media businesses. Most recently, he was co-founder, President and COO of WOW! Unlimited Media (TSX:WOW), and led the sale of the company to a NYSE listed company in April 2022.
Neil began his career as a financial controller in Houston working within the energy sector, after which he worked in investment banking for JPMorgan in New York, Toronto, and London, primarily covering the technology, media and telecom sectors.
Subsequently, he joined Zee Entertainment (NSE:ZEEL), then India’s largest publicly listed media company, in Mumbai, where he initially headed all English television channels and was later Global Head of Strategy and Business Development.
He is an active angel investor, advisor and Board member in multiple media and technology companies.
Neil is a CPA in the US and Canada.
