The inaugural exhibition of Bompas & Parr’s new gallery, Woodward Henry, hosted within the studio. The opening show explores the cultural life of nicotine: its rituals, risks, reinventions and enduring hold on humanity.
Featuring historical objects alongside contemporary artworks, the exhibition will run until the 19th June. There is a special WXO session on Fri 24th April at 14:00 or book any time you like.
Woodward Henry will stage exhibitions using museological and immersive techniques to present new work with expanded context and heightened experience. Its programme reflects the core territories Bompas & Parr continues to explore: food, drink, architecture, branding, the body, science, spectacle, wonder and human universals.
