What does it mean to be invisible — and why do some people long for it?
In this intimate gathering, participants become researchers of their own lived experience — exploring how invisibility operates in personal, social, and institutional life, and how being seen or unseen shapes behavior, belonging, and choice.
The Laboratory of Belonging is a place where visibility is examined with curiosity and care — and where participants leave feeling seen, heard, and celebrated. Blending storytelling, live music, audience reflection, and participatory ritual, this experience fosters resilience and a genuine sense of belonging that tends to stay with people long after they leave the room.
Facilitated by social practice artist and In/Visibility Lab Founder Gabrielle Senza, assisted by Dan Ruderman.
Grounded in over 500 real responses from the Archive of Invisible Things — an ongoing cross-cultural research project.
Capacity: up to 25. No late entry.
