Laura Hess is an experience strategist for immersive and interactive productions. With nearly 15 years in the experiential industry, her portfolio includes experiential marketing, participatory theatre, film, VR, installation art, and themed entertainment.
Drawing from her interdisciplinary background, Laura’s work considers the impact of business models and consumer UX alongside the narrative experience. She specializes in concept development and creative strategy across new and traditional formats, delivering meaningful solutions for both boutique and global entities.
Recently, Laura built a vast industry index: exploring more than 500 productions in five years (in person, digital, and hybrid). The result is REMARKABLE 2025, an award-winning report on the shape of experiential art and entertainment published by the WXO. It introduces a new methodology for evaluation. The REMARKABLE rubric aims to quantify ROX (Return on Experience), alongside traditional metrics and emergent data.
