Zach Morris (he/him/his) is an immersive theater director, experience designer, consultant, and educator. As Co-Artistic Director of Third Rail Projects, Zach has been internationally recognized for creating site-specific, immersive, and experiential works that place the audience at the very heart of the storytelling.
Zach believes that memorable, meaningful experiences happen when audiences become the heroes of their own journey. If attended to with compassion, thoughtfulness, and care, these experiences can be transformative, creating connection and empathy—something that is needed now more than ever.
Zach’s practice as an experience designer and consultant has supported the work of major museums, corporations, brands, cultural partners, and not-for-profits. He’s had the pleasure of teaching at universities across the U.S., and teaching, mentoring, and creating new platforms to support the work of creatives at home and abroad.
Whatever the context, Zach is deeply interested in how we gather. His work lives at the intersection of imaginative, emotionally resonant storytelling and intuitive, human-centered design—creating experiences where the audience’s presence is both essential and meaningful.
