Kendra Valentine

Kendra Valentine is a Story Strategist and author of How to Pitch (Almost) Anything (Pearson Business, 2025), whose work sits at the intersection of narrative and brand.

Her methodology, Strategic Story Design, helps organizations translate complex ideas and concepts into stories that land. Built across three countries and tested across industries, it travels because it had to. She has applied it across experience and brand contexts including theme park worldbuilding and narrative architecture (Eis Griessler, Dan Pearlman), creative production at Nickelodeon, film production credits with Warner Bros. and Universal, and strategy and communications consulting for clients including Electrolux, BCG Digital Ventures, EU institutions, and Techstars.

At the heart of her approach is a simple shift that experience professionals find immediately useful: leading with how you help, not what you do. For an industry that constantly has to sell concepts that don’t exist yet, that reframe changes how pitches land, how briefs get written, and how teams align around a shared vision.

An American based in Berlin, she works internationally across industries and cultures. When she’s not working, you’ll find her field-testing the world’s latest immersive experiences and food concepts alongside her well-dressed Boston Terrier, Dandy. Someone has to do the research.

Currently developing a character-driven immersive dome film, Kendra works with clients on story development, worldbuilding, story editing, IP, and creative briefs — with a particular interest in brand homes, themed experiences, and museum storytelling, and a long love for kids and family media. Always open to conversations about projects that need story clarity.
